The Wide Bay Region covers a fairly large area with 12 churches in coastal and country towns and cities. Hervey Bay & Maryborough both have 2 churches in the central part of the region. Bundaberg and Gin Gin are in the northern area with Bauple in the south. Inland we have 5 churches including Kingaroy, Murgon, Gayndah, Mundubbera and Childers. The pastors and churches have a good sense of support and teamwork with many of the churches in a season of growth and enlarging or renovating facilities. The population in the coastal areas is growing quickly while the inland towns are struggling with some issues of unemployment and difficult weather conditions. Despite these challenges there is an increasing expectation of significant breakthroughs and growth in all of the churches.
